EMMA HESSELS

The 23-year-old singer Emma Hessels commutes between Antwerp and Brussels. Armed with only her voice and guitar, she won the prestigious Sound Track, the music competition for emerging talent, in 2023.

In her bedroom, she creates small songs in which she sings about grand, universal feelings such as love and loneliness. Her music is a quest for identity and recognition. This is also reflected in her sound, which is hard to categorize into a single genre. Only her soulful voice remains the one – beautiful – constant.
