Fresh out of nowhere, Hubert Tuyishime ( they/them/their) lets their voice resound across the European music landscape, combining classic pop hooks with a stunning voice and lo-fielectronics with the ritual power of gospel music. Although they are still at the very beginning oftheir career under the alias Porcelain id, the 25-year old Belgian singer-songwriter has already attracted a lot of attention with this year’s debut album “Bibi:1” and not just in their native Belgium. With poetic lyrics about their own life and the convention breaking impetus of theirmusic, Porcelain id knows how to silence a big audience. Yet their raw endearing energy at liveshows, also makes people dance, cry and sing at the top of their lungs.
